Pastry Detective is a short film created by Nicholas Robinson, with assistance from Michael Johnson. There are many crimes in the world, but few are to be solved by the Pastry Detective. He doesn't solve crimes of the human variety, only those involving baked goods.

The short film follows the titular Pastry Detective as he reflects upon crime before investigating a crime scene. The heinous crime he's investigating? Overcooked cookies.

Fun Facts

Prop cigarettes were used in the making of this short film and the cookies used were a week old!

Why Film Noir?

I enjoy the art of parody, and creating a Film Noir parody where the twist is that the only crime commited was a crime of poor cooking hit me and I had to make it.
